and seek ways to bring glory to God.
As good stewards, are we not called to use all means available to get the word
out about what is going on? How do we use the new tools of this information
age to grow the gifts that we have
been blessed with, to spread our message and bring comfort to those we have a
responsibility to assist and/or enlighten?
Should your organization have a "home" on the Internet, produce attractive communications
not only to those
who are already involved, but to neighbors and friends in the community, and
advertisements of all kinds to attract interest and participation in our
projects and offerings, and a specific plan to get the word out?
YES, of course!
None of these methods of spreading the word need to be
expensive, but
* they do need to appeal specifically to those you wish to encourage
* they do need to project the unique qualities of your organization in a sincere and compelling manner.
Sometimes mass-produced materials with a generalized message will work, but
taking the time to develop your own style may well be the ingredient that makes
a difference.
We especially enjoy working with small churches that
need high quality materials but may not have been blessed with members who have talent in this area and do not
currently have the resources to hire an expensive advertising agency.
